Ok so to start off I have no idea what to name this blog...so until I can think of something "Original Blog Title Here" will have to work. Catchy huh? Oh and Im not really sure how to do all this fancy blogger stuff so dont expect anything special at first.....dont worry Ill get there.
Well. Lets get this show on the road.
I titled this post Lessons Learned. The reason behind that is in the past 3 months I have learned so many life lesson, some more difficult then others.
What I have learned about friendship....
1. When you find a good friend in this world, hold on to them. True friends are few and far between. Lucky for me God has blessed me with some great ones.
2. Most people who act like they are your friend, arent. Be careful who you let into your heart.
What I have learned about family....
1. They come first. That is all there is to it.
What I have learned about life.....
This one is going to be long so I threw out the number system! Life is crazy. Thats all you really can say about it. Over the past couple months my life has been a tail spin. Months full of praying for Gods direction and hoping that I was making the right choices. Something else I have come to learn is, the plans we make for ourselves and the plans God has for us is most likley two different things. I have said for 3 years now that I do not want to establish myself in the city I live in now.....ready for the crazy part? I finally realized that this is where I actually need to be. If you would have told me a year ago that I would be back living here, attending church at the place I go (ill get to that in a minute, and working in a restaraunt I would have laughed in your face, but the joke is on me because thats my life! About my work...well its work. Somedays I hate it and somedays I love it but I'm thankful that I have a job.I work at a little restaurant right over the rail road tracks. Pretty much I see the same people come in everyday, I can tell you from the minute they walk in where they will sit, what they want to drink, and what they will order. (these people are dedicated!). Anyways its a cool place to work and I have met a lot of cool people. Ok now on to my favorite subject...CHURCH! When Im not able to make it to Jesus Name Church (its about an hour and a half drive) I have recently started attending The Assembly. (Shout out to Pastor Danny and Sis. Gayla!! You guys are amazing!) This place has so much going it just makes me fill up with joy to talk about. I mean you really just have to come visit for yourself to get the full experience. Oh what the hay, Ill throw in the link for you! Go check it out!! http://www.theassemblycabot.com/
I guess Ill end this first blog by saying God is so good to me, I cant complain :)
